GLASHA FARMHOUSE B&B

After a refreshing ice cream, we headed to the Glasha Farmhouse, an award-winning bed and breakfast, located in the North Waterford / South Tipperary area, between the Knockmealdown and Comeragh Mountains. The beautiful B&B is an extremely pleasant and comfortable country Inn, with its large living room, and glass-enclosed dining room where an excellent breakfast and dinner was served overlooking the patio and gardens. I was lucky enough to get a room with a 6’ long tub so I took the opportunity to soak in the refreshing hot water before calling it a night.

NOTE: I’ve struggled with this first Ireland blog post because my trusty laptop failed me on the flight over. When the screen froze I knew that was not a good sign. The local Dublin laptop repair store told me that it was most likely the graphics card or dead screen, but in any event it would be costly to repair and certainly not possible on a Saturday afternoon! So, I’m using my IPhone to create the blog, which might have resulted in errors (and certainly omissions) as I struggle to relearn the system that is even complicated on a big screen!
