The Denver Central Library was designed in 1995 by Michael Graves, in partnership with the local architectural firm of Klipp Colussy Jenks Dubois Architects. The original modified International Style building (by Burnham Hoyt) relied on a graceful rotunda and crisp, well-defined fenestration. Architect Graves saved the rotunda, making it part of the new library, whose geometric forms bring to mind a Postmodern Italian hill town and add color and unique form to the Civic Center Cultural Complex.

Great photos of all the architecture in the Denver Civic Center. I love the sculptures of Willy, Argus and Lucky.
