Copenhagen is not all about classic architecture with centurys-old ornate brick and stone historic buildings; it is also a city of modern glass and steel, state-of-the art building design, and contemporary and innovative architecture. There are several contemporary buildings within proximity of the central downtown (including the City’s library . . . “the Black Diamond,” and the City Opera House, among others.
