Chihuly Nights at the Botanic Gardens | Denver, Colorado

I didn’t think it could get any better than the Chihuly Exhibit I visited on a sunny August afternoon (see blog post Denver Botanic Gardens’ Outdoor Chihuly Exhibit – August 23, 2014), but the “Chihuly Nights” Exhibit I toured on a crisp October evening was even more spectacular. I was told that overall, the Chihuly Exhibit at the Denver Botanic Gardens had surpassed all others in attendance, and it is no wonder (and I just learned that the night exhibit has been sold out for the remainder of its scheduled 2014 program, which ends November 30th). The displays are superbly designed, located and configured within the Gardens, and lighting displays at Chihuly Nights provide an unbelievably spectacular visual. The following galleries of photographs do not do the Exhibit justice, but you will get an idea of how the integration of manmade artistry within the natural landscape’s nighttime setting can provide an entirely different and unique experience.
