Civic Center Cultural Complex | Denver, Colorado

The development on the east side of the Acoma Plaza of the Arts, which separates the two projects, includes the Museum Residences; the nine-story 50,000 square foot Museum Center; and the 165-room Art Hotel. The Libeskind-designed Museum Residences incorporates a translucent glass skin, combined with the metal-clad geometric forms in order to complement the titanium-clad museum located on the other side of the Acoma Plaza. The top 6 floors of the seven-story building house 56 luxury condominiums, which range in size from 800 to 5,000 square feet, and includes a 1000-car public parking garage; the ground floor provides 16,000 square feet of dedicated retail space. The final phase of this public/private mixed-use office and hotel development now underway within whats known as the Golden Triangle complements the previous development of the Museum Residence, the DAM’s Frederic C. Hamilton Building described on the previous page, and the Civic Center Cultural Complex Parking Garage.
